Treatment Eligibility and Safety Requirements

A comprehensive medical history and facial assessment must be completed before any procedure commences. All models require informed written consent prior to treatment. We maintain strict adherence to AHPRA and TGA guidance, which we teach to our course delegates.

Models must be over 18 years of age and cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, in accordance with current safety guidelines.

Should we determine, that treatment would not be beneficial for you on the training day, the procedure will not proceed and your payment will be fully refunded. We reserve the right to cancel and refund model treatments if the patient is not an ideal candidate for demonstrating the treatment for educational purposes.

For certain model treatments and packages, we may request photographs of the treatment area when booking to assess suitability before the appointment day.

Accurate information from models is essential to ensure the correct product is ordered. We cannot be held responsible for any omissions or incorrect information provided.

Educational Treatment Framework

Treatments are performed by AHPRA registered delegates under strict trainer supervision for educational purposes, which is why models receive discounted pricing. Your attendance is essential to the course structure, so reliability with appointment times is greatly appreciated.

Multiple delegates will collaboratively share the consultation and treatment plan for each model on the course day.

Standard doses and safe quantities of product will be administered during training exercises, with injections at standard landmarks. Given the nature of treating practitioners, results may differ from those achieved by more experienced practitioners.

Model treatments are performed for cosmetic purposes, and results can only be assessed subjectively. Whilst we advise on probable outcomes, this should not be interpreted as a guarantee.

Models are constantly needed for medical practitioners to train on, so we kindly request reliability with your scheduled appointments.

Pricing Philosophy and Special Offers

We strongly adhere to AHPRA and TGA guidance regarding offers for cosmetic treatments. Free treatments as ‘prizes’ or ‘buy-one-get-one-free’ promotions will NOT be offered. We treat cosmetic treatment administration with the same standards as any other medical intervention.

The discounted cost of products is the sole incentive provided to models at our training days. High street clinic or retail prices will not be charged to models, as we recognise these are training events.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Payment is retained by the company if you cancel a treatment booked as a model, and refunds are not offered.

Transferring payments to another treatment or appointment time may be possible with at least 2 weeks’ notice before the treatment date. If the model chooses not to have further treatment in this situation, payment would be retained by the company.

Our training days depend on scheduled model appointments; therefore changes cannot be made to scheduled appointments within 2 weeks of the treatment date.

Payment is retained and no refunds will be issued if a model fails to attend their allocated appointment or wishes to cancel a booking. The appointment will not be rearranged.

Should we need to cancel model treatments due to events beyond our control—including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, acts of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood, or any other natural or man-made eventuality—we will offer the opportunity to reschedule your model booking to a later date. In such circumstances, cancellation requests would be covered under our standard cancellation terms.

Review Appointment Protocol

Review appointments are conducted at the start or end of structured training days, subject to availability. We will endeavour to offer an appointment between 14 days for anti-wrinkles and 21 days for dermal fillers.

A-wrinkle treatments require 14 days to settle. Dermal filler require 6 weeks to settle. If you have questions after this period, please email us with a 30-second video of the area. The treating practitioner on the training day will organise a face-to-face review. If the treating practitioner is based interstate or more than 2 hours away from Sydney Metro area Shift Cosmetic Clinics will do the face to face review along with the treating practitioner (through telehealth).

Once confirmed, models cannot reschedule review appointments.

Anti-wrinkle treatment review appointments are only offered when requested within 14-21 days of initial treatment. All anti-wrinkle treatment review appointments must occur within 21 days of the initial treatment. Requests outside this timeframe would be treated as new model treatments requiring standard booking and payment.

If the treatment outcome is satisfactory but additional product is required for the individual patient, a charge will apply for the additional product.

Model review appointment slots are available during scheduled course times only—out-of-hours reviews are unavailable.

Patients cannot have revision treatments more than 6 weeks post-filler treatment.

Patient reviews for anti-wrinkle treatment will be no more than 21 days after initial treatment.

Appointment Modifications

In certain circumstances, we may need to change your appointment. Advanced notice will be provided, and a suitable alternative appointment date and time will be offered. We do not accept liability for travel expenses or other costs incurred by models to attend an appointment.

For other issues: Please note that the consent form signed on the treatment day outlines that ‘given the nature of the treating practitioners, the results may not be the same as with a more experienced practitioner’. We teach standard landmarks and doses for each treatment. Consequently, you may not achieve the same bespoke result available in a clinic with an experienced practitioner.

For asymmetry queries: Please contact us with a 30-second video of the area. If a review or correction is required, an appointment will be booked via our model team. At this appointment, we will review your before and after photos, treatment record, and treatment outcome to determine the appropriate action.

Regarding product quantities: The consent form signed on the treatment day outlines that standard safe quantities of product are used during the training exercise.

Treatment outcomes: No refunds will be given if a treatment or product does not achieve the planned outcome (for example, if an anti-wrinkle treatment does not fullu correct wrinkles).

Despite the discounted pricing of all treatments for educational purposes, we strongly encourage all models to carefully consider all treatments before undergoing them and not rush into decisions. If models have questions prior to treatment, we encourage you to contact us.
